The number of lessons depends on how relaxed or choreographed you’d like your dance to be. For something simple that gets you moving comfortably around the dance floor, two hours may be enough. If you’d like your whole first dance choreographed and are aiming for a more polished look, the five hour package is normally ideal.

Absolutely not. Lessons are designed for beginners and most of my students have never danced before. There is no such thing as ‘two left feet’ and I will guide you step by step so you feel confident, comfortable and happy.

I teach at a couple of studios in Islington/North London (rates on the ‘lessons & pricing’ page apply to these venues). I’m also happy to travel to other London areas, but due to different studio rates and travel time, an additional fee may be applied.

My main advice is that you choose a song that you both really love - you’ll be listening to it a lot! There is no right or wrong choice, but if you’re unsure on whether a song would be suitable, I’d suggest you make a shortlist of the ones you’re considering and I can advise you on which one would be easier to dance to.

Absolutely, your dance will be bespoke to you! Once I know what song you’ve chosen, I will choreograph the bare bones of the dance ahead of our first lesson. As I get to know you in the studio, I will customise everything we do to highlight both your strengths and the moves you enjoy the most!
